Located within our brand-new hotel, ARNO Ristorante is a refined Tuscan-inspired restaurant where authentic flavors, warm service, and a vibrant atmosphere come together. To lead this unique concept, we are looking for a passionate and experienced Restaurant Manager.

As Restaurant Manager, you are the driving force behind the guest experience at ARNO Ristorante. You combine operational excellence with genuine hospitality and inspiring leadership.

You will:

• Lead and inspire the front-of-house team, fostering a culture of service, quality, and professionalism aligned with Marriott standards.
• Oversee daily restaurant operations, from reservations and service flow to guest satisfaction and complaint handling.
• Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure a seamless and high-quality dining experience.
• Take ownership of team planning, recruitment, coaching, and performance evaluations
• Monitor financial performance, cost control, and key operational KPIs
• Ensure clear communication between restaurant, kitchen, bar, and hotel teams
• Act as an ambassador of both ARNO Ristorante and Courtyard by Marriott, delivering a consistent brand experience

You are someone who:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Restaurant Manager or similar leadership role within hospitality.
• Fluent in English (Dutch is a strong asset) with excellent communication skills.
• A natural leader with a strong sense of hospitality and attention to detail.
• Structured, solution-oriented, and able to remain calm under pressure.
• Flexible availability (Monday untill Saterday between 10:00 and 23:00).
• A genuine passion for Italian cuisine and the ability to translate this into a memorable guest experience.

The restaurant is part of Courtyard by Marriott Ghent, located in a newly developed event hub alongside multiple international hotels, creating a dynamic environment where hotel guests, locals and business visitors come together.

Our location is easily accessible, no matter where you come from. ARNO Ristorante and Courtyard by Marriott are located at Akkerhage 2B, 9000 Ghent, right next to exit 9 (U.Z. Gent) of the E17. Coming by car? You can park worry-free in our spacious free parking area. Cyclists, scooter users, or speed pedelec riders can easily reach us via safe and well-designed bike paths right up to the entrance, with a convenient bike parking facility on site. Public transport also brings you smoothly to our door: tram and bus stops are within walking distance, with easy connections via De Lijn.
