Antwerp-Zuid: our Flanders Flagship

We opened a Flanders flagship store at the corner of Anselmostraat & Justitiestraat (zuid), open 6/7 from 07u00 to 21h00, serving our popular Belgian offer from morning to evening.

As Junior Store Manager, you will support the Store Manager in the daily running of the Antwerp location and progressively take responsibility for the operation of the store. You will be a key person on the floor, helping ensure Fernand Obb standards are maintained every day across service, hospitality, quality, hygiene and team organisation. This is an opportunity to grow into a full Store Manager role within a fast-growing Belgian food concept.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in the daily operations of the store: flow, speed, quality and cleanliness.
• Be actively present on the floor and lead the team during service.
• Ensure Fernand Obb procedures are correctly followed: opening/closing, cash handling, HACCP, expiry-date control and stock counts.
• Support team onboarding, training and coaching.
• Help organise staff schedules and coordinate the FOH/BOH team.
• Monitor product quality, service standards and guest satisfaction.
• Support the Store Manager in monitoring sales, labour costs, waste and stock.
• Help identify operational issues and propose practical solutions.
• Contribute to the development of the Antwerp location and its local visibility.
• Gradually take ownership of additional responsibilities as your experience and autonomy grow.

• 1-3 years of experience in restaurant, hospitality or food retail, ideally with some team coordination experience.
• Hands-on, motivated and comfortable working on the floor.
• Organised, reliable and solution-oriented.
• Strong sense of hospitality and customer service.
• Comfortable taking responsibility and leading a team when needed.
• Interested in learning about operations, stock, labour costs and store performance.
• Good communication skills.
• NL/EN required (French is a plus)
• Willing to work evenings and weekends as part of a 6/7 operation.
