Fernand Obb Delicatessen is a Brussels-born Belgian comfort food concept — a place for everyone, from kids to grandparents. We elevate the great Belgian classics with quality ingredients, a warm and laid-back vibe, and a strong focus on hospitality. We’re especially known for our shrimp croquettes — voted Best Shrimp Croquettes in Brussels (2 years in a row) — and we were named POP of the Year 2021 by Gault&Millau.; Fernand Obb has been featured in numerous national and international media outlets. Antwerp - Zuid: our Flanders Flagship This will be our 3rd shop and our first in Flanders — and we’re coming with a bang. We’re opening a Flanders flagship store at the corner of Anselmostraat & Justitiestraat (Zuid), open 7/7 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, serving our popular Belgian offer from morning to evening.

Lead the opening and then run the store end-to-end: people, operations, quality, hygiene, stock, guest experience and performance (P&L;). You ensure Fernand Obb standards are lived every day — and you make this Antwerp location a real neighbourhood destination.
Key responsibilities :

• Run daily operations on the floor: flow, speed, quality and cleanliness.
• Implement and enforce SOPs: opening/closing, cash handling, HACCP, expiry-date control and stock counts.
• Deliver targets: revenue, gross margin, labour cost, waste and losses, guest satisfaction.
• Recruit, train, coach and schedule the team (FOH/BOH).
• Build local traction: neighbourhood, offices, partnerships and local activations (Google/social, tastings, flyers)

• 3-5+ years leading a restaurant or food retail team.
• Hands-on leader: structured, demanding and fair.
• Standards-driven and strongly operational.
• Comfortable with numbers: margin, labour %, inventory and productivity.
• NL/EN required (French is a plus).

• Employee contract + performance bonus (result/profit-linked incentives).
• Independent (management agreement) - monthly retainer + success fee
