We are looking for a structured and hands-on Junior Restaurant Manager who thrives in a dynamic service environment and wants to grow within a concept where atmosphere, quality and guest experience go hand in hand.

The Role

As a Restaurant Manager, you are a key operational leader within the restaurant. You combine hands-on service leadership with structured planning, team development and operational control.
Working closely with the Owner / General Manager, you ensure smooth execution, motivated teams and a consistently high guest experience while contributing to the long-term growth of the concept.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational leadership

    Lead daily restaurant operations and service execution
    Maintain high service standards, cleanliness and professionalism
    Manage opening and closing procedures
    Monitor reservations, table planning and service flow
    Conduct pre-shift briefings and coordinate team responsibilities
  • Team development

    Create weekly staff schedules and manage availability planning
    Recruit, onboard and coach new team members
    Conduct performance follow-ups and evaluations
    Lead monthly team meetings and strengthen communication
    Optimize staffing efficiency and cost control
  • Financial & administrative responsibility

    Supervise POS operations during service
    Perform end-of-day cash control and reporting
    Prepare daily financial overviews
    Implement menu or event updates in Lightspeed
    Monitor food and beverage waste and support cost targets
  • Operational improvement

    Improve and maintain operational checklists and procedures
    Support development of training and onboarding programs
    Optimize workflows and overall efficiency
  • Weekly Structure

    Administrative Management Day: review, analysis, planning and operational improvement
    Thursday – Reset Day: full restaurant reset, system checks and operational preparation
    Friday & Saturday – Service Leadership: lead peak service execution
    Sunday – Forward Planning & Administration: scheduling, ordering and preparation for the upcoming week

Profile

  • Experience in hospitality operations or team leadership
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Hands-on mindset with strong floor presence
  • Calm under pressure and quality-focused
  • Structured, solution-oriented and detail-driven
  • Strong communication skills

What We Offer

Employment Details

  • Belgian full-time employment agreement (40 hours per week)
  • Combination of operational service days and one dedicated administrative day

Compensation & Bonus

Salary discussed based on experience.
Performance bonus (KPI-based)

  • Up to €1,000 gross per month
