Where Italian nostalgia meets real bar craft

Nando isn't just another restaurant — it's Nonna's kitchen, brought to life in Wilrijk, Antwerp. Retro details, honest Italian comfort food, and a room that feels like family. We're looking for a Barman to own our bar: someone who mixes with precision, keeps the bar running like clockwork during service, and makes every guest feel like they've pulled up a stool at Nonna's counter.

• Prepare and serve drinks — cocktails, wine, coffee, aperitivo classics — accurately and efficiently
• Welcome guests at the bar and set the tone for their evening
• Keep the bar stocked, clean, and ready before service hits
• Manage the pace of orders during busy periods without losing quality or friendliness
• Coordinate with the floor team so drinks and food orders stay in sync
• Handle guest requests and resolve minor issues with a calm, professional touch

• Experience as a barman/bartender in hospitality
• Solid knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, and Italian aperitivo culture
• Composure under pressure — busy nights don't rattle you
• Organized, hands-on, hygiene- and detail-conscious
• English (required), basic Dutch (required); Italian or French is a real plus

Restaurant is open 7/7, with 2 days off per week (not fixed, based on the schedule).

• Full-time, 38h contract
• €15.00–€18.00 brutto/hour, negotiable based on experience
• Meal vouchers, holiday pay, and a 13th month
• Bike allowance and uniform provided
• Real ownership of the bar from day one — with a clear path to grow within your first 6 to 12 months
• Room to grow within a restaurant group that's expanding
