Ghent Marriott Hotel is looking for an enthusiastic Banqueting Waiter to strengthen our events team. In this role, you ensure that banquets, receptions, dinners and events run flawlessly. You are the face of our service and help create memorable experiences for our guests.

• You prepare and set up event rooms for banquets and events (tables, chairs, decoration, equipment).
• You provide service during receptions, walking dinners, buffets and seated dinners.
• You serve food and beverages according to established service standards.
• You act as a point of contact for guests and respond flexibly to their needs.
• You ensure event spaces remain clean and well-organized before, during and after events.
• You work closely with the kitchen, sales team and colleagues to ensure smooth event execution.

• Experience as a waiter or in a similar role is a big plus.
• You are flexible and available to work in shifts between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m., including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• You are a team player with an eye for detail and enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
• You communicate well and speak fluent Dutch or English (other languages are a bonus!).
• You are looking for full-time (38h) or part-time work.
