Are you a pastry professional with a refined sense of flavor, texture, and finesse? Someone who sees desserts as the final chord of a complete dining experience — and strives for that perfection every single day?
Then you might be the Pastry Chef we’re looking for at The Jane Antwerp.
Tasks
In this role, you play a central part in our kitchen and help shape the pastry department together with Nick Bril. You and Nick are jointly responsible for the creation of all new flavors and the execution of desserts and mignardises for both lunch and dinner. With a sharp eye for detail, timing, and consistency, you ensure that every dessert completes the experience exactly as intended.
At The Jane, patisserie is not just about sweetness, but about modernity, balance, precision, and innovation. You’ll be given the space to be creative, take responsibility, and continue developing yourself within a team that collectively strives for the highest level.
Who we're looking for:
- Experience in a similar role within fine dining or high-end hospitality
- A strong passion for patisserie and sweet creations
- Creative, innovative, and independent, with a structured working style
- Stress-resistant and sharp during service
- Communicative in Dutch and/or English
- Able to independently handle ordering, stock management, and organization
- Precise, well-groomed, and with strong attention to detail
- Hands-on, solution-oriented, and eager to keep growing
- A team player who enjoys collaborating with both kitchen and front-of-house teams
