Mero: Opening soon in the center of Antwerp, our new fine dining restaurant offers a unique culinary experience inspired by Mediterranean roots, Scandinavian simplicity, and bold Asian flavors. Our goal is to create honest, flavorful dishes in an elegant and welcoming atmosphere where guests can enjoy modern gastronomy with a personal touch.
Tâches
- Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth service and an exceptional guest experience.
- Welcome guests and ensure a warm, professional, and personalized service.
- Manage, train, and motivate the service team to maintain the highest hospitality standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate service and guarantee seamless communication.
- Curate and recommend wines, ensuring thoughtful food and wine pairings.
- Monitor reservations, table settings, and service flow.
- Handle guest feedback with professionalism and a solution-oriented mindset. Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and quality standards.
- Support the management team in developing and implementing service strategies.
- Contribute actively to the restaurant’s vision and help build a strong and motivated team culture.
Profil
- Proven experience in fine dining restaurants
- Solid knowledge of wine and food & wine pairing
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Passionate, ambitious, and detail-oriented
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
Horaires de travail
- Full-time position (38 hours/week), including evenings and weekends according to the restaurant’s opening hours.
- The schedule will be discussed in advance to ensure a healthy work-life balance.
