A new culinary hotspot has recently opened its doors. Restaurant De Aarde is the brainchild of chef Frédéric Chabbert and his wife Evangeline. They invite their guests to choose from a high-quality à la carte menu and set the gastronomic bar even higher than at their previous restaurant, Dôme. At De Aarde, chef Frédéric expresses his love for classic cuisine in a pure, almost brutalist, manner. The setting: an intimate club atmosphere... an avant-garde vibe in one of Antwerp’s most beautiful houses.

You are a key member of the front-of-house team and ensure a great atmosphere in the restaurant. To achieve this, you’ll work alongside a team of professionals who all share the same passion for hospitality. Before your shift, you’ll ensure the tables are set correctly and brief your colleagues thoroughly. During service, you are the person who ensures smooth communication with the kitchen and conveys a sense of hospitality to the guests. Don’t worry about administration and other paperwork… we have other specialists for that. Your job is to be there for our guests, to pamper them and, together with your colleagues, to provide excellent service.

For this role, we are looking for an exceptional individual who is both willing and able to work at a high standard. Ideally, you will have experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry and be committed to making this new restaurant a success. As De Aarde aims to set new standards, you must be flexible and open to new or different perspectives. However, one quality is essential: you must live and breathe hospitality.... the rest we can develop together.
Ideally, you speak fluent English and have a knowledge of French.

Restaurant De Aarde is closed two days a week (weekdays). We will agree on the exact timetable, but please bear in mind that there may be periods with reduced service.
