Do you enjoy being the first point of contact for guests, making them feel at home, and creating a smooth and pleasant stay? Then you might be the Hotel Receptionist we’re looking for at our brand-new hotel on the outskirts of Ghent.

As a receptionist, you are at the heart of our hotel. You welcome guests with a smile, assist with check-ins and check-outs, and provide information to make their stay as enjoyable as possible. Our reception desk is directly connected to the bar, so you also serve guests a refreshing drink when needed. In the morning, you assist the breakfast team to ensure our guests start their day in the best possible way.

You combine hospitality, organizational skills, and flexibility. A snapshot of your tasks:

• Warmly welcoming guests, handling check-ins and check-outs.
• Providing information and assistance to ensure a smooth guest experience.
• Answering phone calls and emails, resolving questions or issues.
• Serving drinks and small snacks from the bar when required.
• Supporting the breakfast team during the morning shift where needed.Handling reservations and processing payments.
• Maintaining a tidy and welcoming reception and lobby area.

In short: you’re the host, problem-solver, and welcoming presence at the heart of our hotel.

• You are friendly, service-minded, and proactive.
• You enjoy working in a team but can also handle tasks independently.
• Flexible to work in different shifts, including weekends.
• You speak fluent Dutch and English (knowledge of other languages is a plus).
• Experience in hospitality, reception, or customer service is a plus.
• You are comfortable with computers or eager to learn new systems.
• A diploma is less important than your enthusiasm, reliability, and hospitality mindset.
