A prestigious establishment in the center of Bruxelles specializing in Belgium cuisine is searching a "Chef de Partie (m/f)" for a 3-month fixed-term contract with a view to a permanent contract.
Tâches
- Prepare mise en place
- Organize and coordinate the activities of the kitchen staff, planning preparations and service
- Provide guidance to kitchen assistants on preparation and cooking techniques
- Prepare and finalize dishes
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and kitchen tools
- Ensure the quality and freshness of all ingredients
- Oversee the hygienic storage and preservation of food items
- Monitor kitchen inventory, manage usage and losses, and place orders as necessary
- Maintain order, cleanliness, and safety within the kitchen
- Adhere to all safety standards during operations
- Report any disturbances or defects in equipment
- Participate in team meetings with colleagues and management
- Assist in preparing reports and schedules for the team
Profil
- Highly motivated, organized, flexible, and open-minded
- Activa certification is a plus
- Proficiency in English is required
- A minimum of 5 years of professional kitchen experience is mandatory
- Experience in Belgium cuisine is a required
- Strong sense of teamwork and solidarity
