We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Bartender to join our vibrant team for the exciting launch of a brand new immersive night club in the heart of Antwerp. As a Senior Bartender, you will not only take the lead in the bar within our club and events but also contribute to various other hospitality-related tasks. Your responsibilities will include creating both classic and innovative drinks, interacting with guests, managing stock, training students, maintaining cleanliness, and providing exceptional service. We are looking for a bartender with a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to proactively contribute to improving the bar service.

Responsibilities

• Drink Preparation: Utilize your extensive knowledge and skills in mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks to consistently deliver high-quality beverages. Create a memorable and enjoyable experience for guests by showcasing your expertise and creativity.

• Guest Interaction: Interact with guests, taking orders, serving snacks and drinks, and assessing their preferences to make recommendations. Provide attentive and personalized service, ensuring guests feel welcome and well taken care of.

• Stock Management: Maintain stock levels, ensuring an adequate supply of ingredients, beverages, and bar-related supplies. Monitor inventory, place orders, and manage deliveries to avoid shortages.

• Student Training: Train and mentor students in the art of bartending, sharing your knowledge and skills to help them develop their capabilities. Foster a positive learning environment and encourage their growth within the team.

• Bar Maintenance: Ensure the bar and bar-related equipment are clean, organized, and in proper working condition. Follow hygiene and safety standards, promptly addressing any maintenance or repair needs.

• Collaboration and Support: Assist your colleagues in providing exceptional service whenever needed, fostering a team-oriented approach. Contribute to maintaining the structure and tidiness of the venue and stock rooms.

• Proactive Improvement: Continuously think proactively about possibilities to enhance the bar service and overall guest experience. Suggest and implement improvements, such as new drink recipes, bar techniques, or efficient workflows.

• Resume and proven working experience as a Bartender.
• Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks, with the ability to create both classic and innovative beverages.
• Fluency in Dutch is required. Proficiency in English and French is highly desirable.
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean, ensuring a visually appealing and efficient work environment.
• Relevant training certificates, such as a Bartending Certification, are a plus.
• Open-minded, solution-oriented, and flexible, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
• Barista knowledge and experience is advantageous.
• Ability to manage stress effectively and maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
