Front of House Manager
As a Front-of-House Manager at BÚN Bar & Restaurant, you will play a crucial role in creating an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of tasks, including:
- Supervising and Leading: Effectively manage and lead the front-of-house staff, to ensure seamless service and a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
- Guest Relations: Provide top-notch guest service by interacting with and addressing the needs of our guest in the restaurant, bar, and terrace areas.
- Wine and Beverage Management: Oversee the selection, presentation, and service of a diverse range of wines and beverages, ensuring consistency and excellence in their offerings.
- Bar Setup and Maintenance: Maintain an organized and efficient bar setup, including inventory management and equipment maintenance.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the bar and stockroom areas, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Training and Development: Provide training, mentorship, and guidance to staff to enhance their skills and deliver exceptional service.
- Problem Solving: Address any issues or challenges that may arise during service, ensuring a swift and effective resolution.
- Quality Control: Maintain quality control standards for service, ensuring a consistent and exceptional dining experience for our guests.
- Previous relevant work experience.
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations.
- WSET / Beer / Cocktail certificates.
- Exceptional command of either English or Dutch.
- A passion for Asian culinary and beverage culture.
- Sunday, Monday and Thursday lunch off
- End of 2023, subject to discussion.
