About Nando
Nando is a retro Italian bistro where everything revolves around Nonna-approved Italian comfort food. Our concept focuses on the pure essence of Italian dining: great food, a warm atmosphere, and a touch of nostalgia — as if you were eating at Nonna’s home. It’s a cozy place where friends and families come together to enjoy Italian classics in a relaxed and welcoming setting.

As Waiter / Service Responsible, you are a key presence in the dining room. You combine excellent table service with operational awareness and team coordination during service hours. You will work closely with management to ensure efficient service flow, happy guests and strong team communication.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Service

• Welcome guests warmly and professionally
• Take food and beverage orders accurately
• Serve dishes and drinks efficiently
• Handle guest requests and resolve minor issues professionally
• Ensure every guest enjoys a high-quality dining experience

Floor Leadership

• Support waitstaff during busy shifts
• Monitor service timing
• Ensure service standards are maintained
• Communicate clearly between floor and kitchen team during service.

• Experienced waiter / shift leader in hospitality
• Strong service mindset with leadership qualities
• Calm under pressure in busy environments
• Organized, hands-on and solution-oriented
• Excellent communication skills
• Positive energy and professional appearance

Languages

• English mandatory
• Dutch mandatory
• Italian or French is a plus

• 38 hours per week
• Restaurant open 7/7
• 2 days off per week
