Project developers and public authorities entrust Congé with the task of revitalizing blind spots in the city and regions. Depending on the dynamics and needs of the area, a customized theme is chosen centered around a hospitality experience. While visitors are presented with new perspectives - never pedantic, but always refreshing - and undergo a behavioral change, a new destination emerges and transforms into a thriving vibrant hotspot.

Tâches

What we’re cooking:
We’re transforming our venue into a buzzing day-to-night hotspot for: Laid-back lunches, Punchy afterwork bites, Twist-on-classic dinners, And flavourful event catering that elevates private soirées, cultural nights and corporate gatherings.

Our goal?
Delivering a food experience guests remember and want to relive, built on a stable menu with two key pillars: All-day dishes made for spontaneous enjoyment: a small bite with a drink, a light lunch, or an addition to dinner. Bold, recognizable classics with a comforting twist: the solid backbone of our menu, designed to become true guest favorites.
And we want you to help define what that looks and tastes like.

Based in: Dynasty Palace, right above Brussels Central Station
Start: As soon as possible
Available for: day service, evening dining, and event-driven energy, really important.

Profil

What we’re looking for:

  • A creative chef with experience, guts, and passion. Someone who loves classics but isn’t afraid to play with them.
  • A co-creator: you’ll help shape the concept, menu and the kitchen flow.
  • You’re comfortable leading a kitchen. team across different formats (à la carte, walking dinner, set menu…).
  • You see the kitchen as part of a larger story: music, people, atmosphere and energy.
  • You know how to scale a menu from intimate dining to large-scale event catering.
  • Skilled in supporting food cost calculations, sourcing the right suppliers and staff planning.
  • You are fluent in Dutch or English, knowledge of French is a strong plus
