Primarily: Preparation of our pastries, cakes, cinnamon roles etc. Managing the stock of these pastries and of the ingredients Developing and testing new recipes Ensuring that the kitchen adheres to safety and health regulations
Secondarily: Helping out in the coffee house with food and drinks preparation, taking orders and accepting payments etc.

• Experience in pastry baking (by education, professional experience or passionate home cook)
• Ability to keep a clean workspace and adhere to food and safety regulations
• Punctual and dependable
• Ability to work in a fast paced production environment
• Team player but also good at working individually
• Flexible to help out in the coffee house when needed
• Good knowledge of English
• Customer oriented

• Part-time at first potentially - full-time later
• As a Karsmakers Barista you will be part of a dynamic, hardworking, multicultural team.
• Your hours will be very predictable and mostly fixed. We are not open in the evenings or in the week-ends.
• You will be compensated fairly according to the specific Belgian labor regulations/standards.
