Located in Antwerp’s former Military Hospital, August is an exploration of the senses. The hotel combines 44 unique rooms spread throughout the convent, a restaurant and bar in the chapel, a wellness area and meeting spaces.
August was designed by internationally renowned architect Vincent Van Duysen, with respect for the building’s architectural heritage.
Alongside its hotel and restaurant operations, August provides a setting for events ranging from intimate wedding ceremonies to corporate events, private dining and exclusive full hotel buyouts.
Together, these create a dynamic and varied kitchen environment.
THE ROLE
At our boutique hotel, we place great importance on a unique guest experience. We are looking for a Chef de Partie who is eager to help us deliver this.
As Chef de Partie, you will join an international kitchen team of talented and motivated young professionals, led by Head Chef Pieter Starmans.

• Take responsibility for preparing and cooking dishes.
• Lead a section of the kitchen brigade.
• Carry out mise en place and place orders.
• Work with the team to deliver excellent service and quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen.
• Ensure compliance with safety and HACCP requirements.
